Use actual ✔ and ✘ instead of graphics of them in reports

Currently reports use pass.gif and fail.gif to indicate variable which did or did not match. The images in question can be reproduced using just HTML/CSS. This slightly simplifies things, makes them easier to change, and makes them something you can easily copy to other places.
