Current best-available coefficients: grbadub_md5="f3f416d6d9d239c40e33c7d7cf04d1c4" (from commit 4a3f8021)
Purpose
This little script patches Esun, fk1, fk2, bc1, bc2 and kappa0 variables in GOES PUG format L1b files. It is an unofficial utility intended to provide best-available TBB and Reflectance values for preliminary GRB data, for applications which use the in-file coefficients.
Installation:
Download grbadub.py and grbadub.sh from grbadub/py/ .
Either provide a python 2.7 interpreter with netCDF4 module as $PYTHON, or Run grbadub.sh on your linux system; it will download runtime from ftp.ssec.wisc.edu as runtime/ and use that.
Best-available version is maintained on master branch. Development versions may be unstable/experimental.
For verification purposes the runtime.tar.xz file should match (using openssl sha256):
SHA256(runtime.tar.xz)= c3ae51659cd2052ef16a94bb9e22cce6573d3c3e21102e666608042f18d84066
