FSR to NSR conversion software module

1.5.4.4 Task 18: FSR to NSR conversion software module A software module to convert the CrIS L1B FSR product to NSR resolution will be developed. While resolution reduction is a relatively simple process for Fourier Transform Spectrometer systems, it can be susceptible to Gibbs ringing effects if a sufficient number of out of band spectral sampling points are not available. While this is mitigated via Hamming apodization which is implemented by most users, it is desirable to have little to no additional ringing introduced by the FSR to NSR conversion in the unapodized radiance. This could potentially eliminate the need to produce and store the SNPP NSR data record.
