Verify half-pixel shift in mesoscale scenes for upcoming DO.07.02 test data drop

An upcoming change in the ground system includes a half-pixel correction to the X and Y angles in the mesoscale sectors.

  • Get current test data drop and corresponding un-corrected mesoscale data, or data taken in the same configuration
  • Compare scale/offset attributes and X and Y values for corresponding scenes
  • Visually check in AWIPS2, SIFT, or other systems that could show the improvement in registration, hopefully with coastline or other features, and/or CONUS and Full Disk sectors.
