+The info command has been rewritten to be more robust and provide more complex (and hopefully useful) information. Previously the command only provided a list of variable names. Now details like data size, data type, and attribute values are available for most kinds of files*. Each file type has slightly different output, depending on how it works internally. 
+
+Glance will now show a warning message if you try to display data in the gui with more than 2 dimensions instead of silently failing to make an image. 
+
+A bug that was stopping the GeoTIFF RGB display feature from producing plots in the gui was fixed. 
+
+We have moved to using the netcdf library to open hdf files. You should not see any differences in how Glance analyses hdf files. This change will make the code easier to maintain and test in the future.

+After some discussion with users, it appears that no one has been using the JPSS ADL blob data format for a long time, so we have removed support for it from Glance. 
+
+* AERI files still only provide a list of variables, but all other types have much expanded informational output.
