Document the project

Please document the project on Git. In my mind the project should have:

• README with instructions on how to download/install/run
• Wiki:
  • Description of how/why/when interpolate
  • Show some sample images that both serve as proof this code works and helps explain to the user the how/why

The main goal in putting together a good README is we want anyone on the team to be able to quickly check out this project and contribute back to it. If this project is developed like many other of the SIPS projects (hatch, cli, ...) then it will make it easier for others to contribute
